STANDARD LSU - The Standard LSU (loaded symmetrical u-cup) is the most widely used design of the LSU family.

By energizing the sealing lips with an endless 0-ring, you are assured of uniform, positive lip contact and excellent low pressure sealing.

The seal depth is equal to the radial width which results in the square design.

Standard LSU seals can be widely used to interchange in existing hydraulic packings and/or O-rings without changing groove dimensions.

TYPE SQB LSU - The square version of the Type B LSU or SQB LSU has the same overall dimensions of the Standard LSU.

This seal features a back-beveled lip design that has greater film breaking ability and increased unit load at the sealing surface.

This results in a better wiping effect.

DEEP LSU - The Deep LSU Seal incorporates the same unique design as the Standard LSU Seal, plus, it’s depth is 1-1/2 times greater than the radial width.

This design increases seal stability to withstand rugged, high shock, heavy duty applications.

This seal will also replace many kinds of vee packing or other old fashioned seals.

When minimum drag is needed, use Standard LSU or Deep LSU seals.

TYPE B LSU - The Type B LSU Seal features a back-beveled sealing lip.

This provides greater film breaking and increased unit loading at the sealing surface.

The seal depth is generally 1-1/2 times the radial width to insure seal stability in the most rugged applications.

The Type B LSU is most commonly used as a rod seal.
