Operating Instructions for the FAG Induction Heating Device A45EA110 ApplicationInduction heating of ring-shaped metal workpieces with 110 mm bore diameter up to some 800 mm outside diameter. The workpiece may weigh up to some 250 kg. FunctionA current-carrying coil with an iron core (primary coil) generates in a secondary circuit (rolling bearing or other ring-shaped metal parts) a high induction current at a low voltage. The inserted part is heated quickly. Non-metallic parts, such as seals and cages, are not headed, and the device itself remains cold. Modes of operationMode 1,,Temperature hold’’Free adjustment of the heating temperature (from 40 to 240°C). The device keeps the workpiece automatically at the selected temperature.Mode 2,,Temperature switch-off’’Free adjustment of the heating temperature (from 40 to 240°C). After reaching the selected temperature the workpiece is automatically demagnetized; the device switches off.Mode 3,,Time control’’Heat-up time freely adjustable up to 60 minutes.
