Pilot operated, spool type screw-in cartridge pressure reducing/relieving valve
This valve maintains a constant secondary (lower) pressure in hydraulic subsystems regardless of pressure variations in the primary system
In addition to the reducing function, this valve also provides a flow path from the reduced pressure port to the tank port
If pressure in the secondary circuit exceeds the desired pressure, the valve opens this flow path to relieve excess pressure to tank
This valve is normally open, allowing flow from port 2 to port 1; port 3 must be vented
